        addcr - converts 0x0a to 0x0d 0x0a

addcr converts all rest-of-the-world newlines to windows-style new‐
lines. Data is expected on standard input and returned on standard out‐
put. If windows-style newlines already exist, nothing is changed.
addcr is used inside the Courier Mail Server but it might also be use‐
        ful for interactive use.
